Jewelry Cleaning and Care
Precious Metals, Gold Enveloped, Alloy Steel (Silver Color)
Lively uses materials that are resistant to fading and hypoallergenic. However, daily use may cause minor scratches and dirt, which is normal. Please follow these care instructions:
Daily Care:
- Clean with warm soapy water and ensure thorough drying to maintain shine and texture.
- For stubborn dirt, soak the jewelry in alcohol for an hour and then rinse.
- The surfaces of precious metals and gold plating are coated with K-gold. If tarnished due to oxidation, cover with toothpaste for about 30 minutes before rinsing to help remove the oxidation.
Alloy Steel (Gold Color)
Alloy Steel uses luxury-grade vapor deposition plating, which is more stable than regular chemical plating, ensuring a long-lasting warm color.
Daily Care:
- After wearing, gently rinse with warm water to remove oils and dirt, and dry thoroughly to avoid water stains.
- When not wearing, store in a soft cloth bag or jewelry box to avoid scratches from rubbing against hard objects.
- Do not contact alcohol or soak in alcohol.
Japanese Akoya Pearls, Lumière Freshwater Cultured Pearls, Reborn Pearls
The beautiful luster of natural and reborn pearls comes from their main component, calcium carbonate. Contact with acidic substances like sweat or tap water can damage them, so handle with care and avoid contact with chemicals and sharp objects.
Daily Care:
- Apply perfume or hair products before wearing jewelry to avoid chemical contact with pearls, which may damage their surface.
- After each wear, wipe the pearl surface with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove sweat and oils.
- Gently rinse with distilled water, avoiding any chemical cleaners or soaps. (Tap water's pH may vary and could dissolve the pearl surface, so use distilled water to maintain luster.)
- When not wearing, store pearls in a soft cloth bag or jewelry box to prevent scratches from rubbing against hard objects.
- Do not contact alcohol.
Vegan Pearls
Daily Care:
- Gently wipe the pearl surface with a soft cloth to remove dirt and oils.
- Rinse gently with lukewarm water, avoiding any chemical cleaners or soaps.
- When storing, place pearls in a soft cloth bag or jewelry box to prevent scratches from other jewelry.
- Do not contact alcohol.
Diamonds
Daily Care:
- After daily wear, wipe gently with a soft cloth to remove oils and dirt.
- Every few weeks, soak diamonds in warm soapy water for a few minutes, then gently brush with a soft brush.
- Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly to avoid water stains.
- Diamonds are very hard; when not wearing, store in a soft cloth bag or jewelry box to prevent scratches from rubbing against other hard objects.
